While having a dust-free console is important for airflow and overall operation, dust and dust bunnies are usually not the culprit for an overheating console but a hot spot on the APU (Accelerated Processing Unit). Fan Replacement

While less common, fans do fail and require replacement. This repair must be done carefully—improper removal can tear the fan connector straight from the motherboard. We’ve repaired many consoles brought in with ripped fan connectors that required delicate soldering to correct. Our technicians replace fans safely to restore proper cooling.

Dust buildup reduces cooling efficiency and adds noise. We perform a deep internal cleaning that helps keep the console running quietly and reliably.
